Bloody Card Stab
A card is selected and shuffled back
into the deck. The magician tries to find the card without success.
In anger (frustration, desperation?)
he takes out a mean-looking knife and after building up the suspense, stabs the
deck! When the knife is lifted, the blade is covered with blood! He wipes the
knife blade clean (leaving the handkerchief stained with blood!) and puts the
knife away. He then runs through the deck until he finds a blood-stained card
.... it is the selected card!
This is the most unusual "horror card stab" in the world! An
ideal trick for werewolves and vampires! Everything supplied including bloodied
Bicycle card, bloodied knife and bloodied handkerchief!

Card Balloon

This is a slight
variation of "Through the Sound Barrier".
The magician opens out a
deck of cards and the spectator freely selects one. The deck is closed and the
card openly pushed into the centre. The card case is closed and then bound with
a ribbon which has an ornamental knife attached to its other end. The magician now
holds the deck together with a balloon on top. After a bit of suspense and
build-up, the balloon is burst with the knife, the deck falls and the selected
card appears at the magician's fingertips!
This is a stunning effect
both for close-up magic and stage. It is very easy to perform and the apparatus
are simple and natural. Use the effect ideally as a finale to a your card act.
Furnished with a special Bicycle poker deck, balloons and a beautiful ornamental
knife.

Card Fan
A card is selected and
torn into six pieces by a spectator. One corner is retained by her (or him) and
the rest are dropped into a folded handkerchief.
The spectator blows
several times on the hanky to make the pieces vanish, but without success. The
magician offers to help and brings forth a small, battery-operated hand fan
which the spectator uses to blow on the hanky.
After some gags, the handkerchief is
opened out and and the torn pieces have vanished! The spectator then switches
off the fan and to her surprise and the audience's amusement, the selected card
is found restored in place of the spinning blades of the fan! One corner is
missing .... that held be the spectator herself!
This very original effect is a real
winner! It is very entertaining and surprising and is guaranteed to bring laughs
and gasps from any audience!
Supplied with battery-operated
hand-fan, an elegant Devil's Handkerchief, extra Bicycle cards and the
routine. You supply your own deck (you can also use any deck).

Card Levitation
A selected card is signed
and returned to the deck.
After a simple shuffle
and cut, the magician causes the card to rise to the top of the deck.
This is repeated another
time and then the magician offers to demonstrate how the card keeps rising to
the top.
The card is turned face down on top
of the deck and the deck placed on the open palm. Slowly and mysteriously, the
card rises and levitates above the deck then settles down again! It is finally
removed and left with the spectator as a souvenir!
This is a very
surprising close-up levitation, very, very effective! You are supplied with a
simple Bicycle poker card gimmick and you supply your own deck!

together and insert the third card between them cross-wise. Push the card right
through and it changes slowly and visibly into another card! All three cards can
be entirely shown back and front!
You receive two cards and
a gimmicked card. All three cards can be clearly shown. The card can be changed
slowly or quickly.
The gimmicked card can
also be added to a normal deck and you can change indifferent cards into the
spectator's card just by pushing the card cross-wise through the deck!
The change is entirely automatic and
very easy to do. Supplied in Bicycle poker cards.

Comedy Card Routine
This is based on the
"Submarine Card" effect but with a humorous ending. Basically, the spectator
follows the magician's simple moves with four cards. Somehow the Magician's
cards are always all face-down while the spectator ends up with a face-up card!
Each time the spectator fails a card is removed yet he still fails to get the
cards right!
In the end, the trick is done ....
would you believe .... with only one card .... still the magician's card is
face-down while the spectator's is face-up!
Very hilarious and entertaining!
This will be your feature close-up effect! Available in Bicycle poker cards or
Piatnik bridge cards.

4D Coin Deck

A Card is selected. The magician
shows (or borrows) a coin and a glass tumbler. The tumbler is inverted on top of
the deck. The coin is slapped on top of the inverted tumbler and it is seen to
penetrate it to land inside on top of the deck!
When the coin is removed, it is seen
to contain a miniature of the selected card!
You can also just cause
a coin to penetrate the tumbler or make a coin appear visibly inside the
tumbler! You are supplied with a Bicycle poker deck, the gimmick, replacements
and mini card images. Provide your own coin!
Also supplied are three stunning
effects and you can easily invent others! Use the trick as the perfect link
to switch from cards to coins or vice-versa!

Finger Printed!
The spectator selects a card which
is then lost in the deck. The magician brings out a magnifying glass which he
uses to scan the back of the cards, a la Sherlock Holmes!
After some by-play, one card is
removed and shown...it is the selected card!
The wonder worker now shows how he
managed to find the card. He turns the card around and holds the magnifying
glass over its back. To everybody's amusement, the "spectator's fingerprints"
are all over the back of the card! As a climax, the magnifying glass is removed,
and, to everyone's surprise, the back of the card is seen to be really
covered with messy fingerprints!
This is obviously not a
serious effect! If you want to make your audience laugh, get this trick!
Supplied with special Bicycle finger-printed card, magnifying glass and the full
routine.

Frisky Cards
The magician offers to
show his famous Five Card Trick. He shows five cards, squares them up and holds
them in his hand. Before he can go further, one card suddenly jumps away from
the packet! Slightly puzzled, he will do his just as famous Four Card Trick but
before he can proceed, another card suddenly jumps away!
Visibly shaken, he will do his Three
Card Trick instead whereupon another card jumps away! Really annoyed now, he
counts and shows two cards left and before he can think of what to do ....
another card takes off! One card left? .... that also jumps away!
Shaun Yee's own
original stand-up effect, very visual and very funny! It is very easy to do and
is ideal for the emcee, the comic and the humorous magician. No sleights! If you
can count to five, you can do it! Made with Bicycle poker cards.

Hypnotic Cards
The magician fans out a
packet of playing cards and shows them back and front. He then squares them up
and holds them in his left hand. He makes mystic gestures over the packet then
slowly, he pulls the cards down one at a time as a sort of step ladder.
Strangely enough, the cards adhere to each other forming a long ribbon of cards!

The magician now makes different
designs with the ribbon of cards, and at the end, closes them all into a packet
again. Finally, he tosses the cards, one at a time into a container and leaves
the audience with no clue as to how they were magically strung together!
The trick is very unusual and easy to do. No
sleight of hand whatsoever. You are supplied with about 17 special cards which
can be shown front and back.
£11 |
Indestructible Card
Show a card back and front at the
fingertips. Tear a corner off, change your mind and toss it back towards the
card ... the corner visibly appears back on the card and the card is completely
restored!
Do this trick as a quick bit of
business and the audience will remember it long after they have forgotten the
bigger items! Use it as the perfect ending to a torn and restored card effect
.... the last corner finally restores itself!

Note these points: * After the
corner is torn off, you can show the card back and front with the corner really
missing! * The corner will appear back on the card without any covering!
* The gimmick card is precision-made! * Available in different makes.

Lelex Jumbo Electronic
Rising Cards
(Lelex/Shaun)
Here is one of
the most exciting versions of the Jumbo Rising Cards! This version is the
creation of Lelex and Shaun Yee.
Three cards are selected from a normal
deck. The magician exhibits a second deck of jumbo cards sitting in its
houlette. The deck is removed and the houlette freely shown to be unprepared.
The deck is then replaced in it.
The spectators name their
cards. The magician gestures with his hands and the giant counterpart of the
three selected cards rise out eerily from the deck!
Note these
important points:
The
trick is automatic. No manipulation whatsoever!
The
cards can also be selected directly from the jumbo deck,
eliminating the use of a normal deck.
The rising of the cards is under the complete control of the
magician.
There is nothing hidden in the hands of the performer. The
cards rise when the empty hands are raised and stop when the
hands are lowered!
This is one of the most beautiful versions in the field of
rising cards!

Magic Singing Bird
Pass out five playing
cards for examination then put them on the table face-down
and ask the spectator to
mix them up thoroughly by shuffling them around. When he is
satisfied, ask him to
pick up any card, to look at it an to remember it, then to replace it with the
others and to mix them up thoroughly again.
The magician then
introduces the Magic Singing Bird. He passes the bird slowly over the face down
cards and suddenly its eyes start flashing and it starts chirping over one card.
That card is turned over. Of course it is the selected card!
If you are fairly adept with cards, you
can use an ordinary deck. Have a card selected and returned to the deck. Shuffle
the cards but control the spectator’s card to the top or bottom of the deck. Now
spread the cards around on the table keeping track of the selected card. Finish
by having the Maqic Singing Bird chirp on the selected card!
If working for kids, use a deck of the
Harry Potter Cards and let the bird find the card! You can create an appropriate
story since the Harry Potter stories have owls as mail couriers!
Though the trick is supplied with a
very cute chirping bird and some special cards, it need not be a card trick. Use
the bird to find other objects as well in other mental effects. Various ideas
are included and you can easily think up other uses.

Mini
Cobra
Have the spectator
select a card from a normal deck. The chosen card is left on the table. Now take
out a small "walnut" and explain that you have a prediction inside. Ask the
spectator to turn over his tabled card. Now give him the walnut and ask him to
open it....a little cobra pops out with a mini image of the selected card in his
mouth!
This cute and unusual
effect will also startle the ladies! It is a harmless magical joke but at the
same time, a cute prediction!

Pocket Card Rise
Have a card selected and
replaced in the deck then place the deck in your breast pocket. Make a few magic
gestures and the selected card rises spookily out of the pocket! Another effect?
Have a card selected, signed and replaced in the deck. Shuffle the cards then
turn over the top card.... it is not the selected card. Remove it and
place it in your breast pocket. Shuffle the deck again and turn over the top
card again.... this is the card you had just placed in your pocket! So what
happened to the selected card? Make a magic pass and it slowly rises out of your
pocket!
You will have fun (or
you should have anyway!) creating other effects! You can tuck a card into your
pocket and it will rise out again anytime you want - it is fully under your
control at all times. Though the method is simple, it is very practical! This is
really cool!

Roped !
A card is selected and
replaced in the deck and the deck shuffled by the spectator himself. It is then
dropped into a box or some other container. A rope is then displayed and one end

effect! The trick is supplied with our usual high quality soft white cotton
rope, super strong gimmick and full instructions. Use your own deck!

Signed Card to Pocket
The spectator selects a
card, signs it and returns it to the deck. The magician, after shuffling the
deck, puts it behind his back. After a few seconds, he brings forward a card.
The spectator names his card. The magi looks at the card in his hand, announces
that it is indeed the correct card, then changes it to a different card which he
turns around to show!
The audience is not impressed! The
deck is handed to the spectator to check .... his selected card is missing!
Showing his hands clearly empty, the magician reaches into the inside breast
pocket of his jacket and brings out the signed card!
You will love this! No
sleight-of-hand is involved! Every move is clean and natural! You can also use
the invisible gimmick for a no-palming card to wallet! Fantastic!!!

Stabbed!
Have a card selected,
signed and returned to the deck. Shuffle the cards then bind them with an
elastic band. Hold the bound deck up with one hand and display a pocket knife
with the other. Drop the deck, stab at it with the knife, and the deck falls to
the ground leaving the selected card impaled on the blade of the knife!
As far as we know, this
is the only version of really stabbing the actual chosen card in mid-air!
Supplied with Bicycle poker cards but the gimmick can be changed to another
brand simply by sticking a card from your own deck on top.
Though you can use any sharp
penknife, one is included to make the trick complete. Three original routines
are included including one where the spectator stabs his own card! You will love
them all! Supplied as Bicycle poker deck.

SY Double Climax Card Castle
Two cards are selected then replaced
and lost in the deck. The magician shows a large envelope and removes two large
playing cards which are his predictions.
However, the predictions are wrong
and do not match the chosen cards. The wonder worker says the magic words and
the large cards transform into a castle of regular cards!
However the chosen cards are still
missing! As the audience watch carefully, one of the chosen card rises
slowly and mysteriously out of the top of the castle! What about the second
selected card? The magician turns the castle around and ..... behold! .....all
the cards at the back are replicas of the chosen card!
This is our own card
castle with a double climax! The rising of the card is always under your
control. No complicated mechanism is involved. The rise is easy and you cause
the card to rise when you want. The effect can be presented complete as
described, or you can modify it and use just the rising effect or the all cards
alike effect. This is cool!

The duplicate of his card rises out of another deck!
Take Any Card Gag:

The Chinese Prediction
The magician shows an
envelope with a written prediction inside. A spectator thoroughly shuffles a
deck of cards and cuts it to his heart's content then selects a card. The
envelope is opened and the prediction given to the spectator to read....but
help!.... it is written in Chinese!
No problem there! The magician
calmly translates the prediction to match the selected card and the audience is
definitely not impressed! After more by-play, the spectator is asked to turn
over the envelope. To everyone's surprise, a duplicate of the selected card is
found on the back!
This is a very amusing
and surprising effect! The card selection itself is worth the price of the whole
trick! The complete routine with different presentation ideas is supplied
together with the special SY Forcing Deck (Bicycle poker), a genuine Chinese
prediction, and envelopes.
£17.50
|
The SY Forcing Deck
Fan out and show the
faces of a deck of cards. The cards are all definitely different. Shuffle the
deck thoroughly and give it to the spectator himself to shuffle until he is
satisfied. He then puts the deck on the table and cuts it as many times as he
likes, until he is again satisfied that all the cards are thoroughly mixed. The
top card of the well-shuffled deck or from the last cut is placed aside. Believe
it or not, it is a forced card !
No
rough and smooth, no short and long cards, no double faces or double backs, no
thick cards, and no sleight of hand. The spectator himself can shuffle and cut
the cards as thoroughly as he likes. The magician does not touch the deck once
he passes it to the spectator. Yet at the end, the spectator picks a forced
card ! Available as Bicycle poker deck.

Transposition Surprise
The magician displays a
deck of cards, cuts it a few times, then turns over the top card. This card is
noted and dealt face-down on the table in front of the spectator who immediately
covers it with one hand. The magi cuts the deck a few more times then turns over
another card. This card is also noted and turned face-down and dealt onto the
table and the spectator covers it with his other hand.
The wonder worker now
boldly states that he will make one card disappear and make it reappear with the
other card! After a couple of attempts, it seems that the magician has failed
for the cards are still separated under the spectator's hands. The spectator is asked to turn over
the cards.
To his surprise,
all the pips have disappeared from one card and have appeared all over the face
of the other card!
"I told you I would make one card
join the other card and it has!" says the magician, "However, the deck is no
good with cards like these!" So saying, he places the two cards back in the
deck, cuts the latter a few times then spreads the cards out on the table. The
two cards are back to normal again!
This very amusing trick is supplied with the special Bicycle
poker cards (no deck) and different methods of handling and finishing. Just add
the cards to your own Bicycle deck. You will love this trick!

Wonder Woodpecker
The spectator selects a card which
is then lost in the deck.

The magician shows a toy woodpecker
which he winds up and attaches to the said deck. The little woodpecker starts
pecking away and when it has finished, it is removed. The deck is now checked
and one card is found to be full of little holes – needless to say, it is the
selected card!
This is a real off-beat and my original effect, long
unavailable now back in limited stock. You receive a cute toy
woodpecker, a special Bicycle deck, a special card and different
ideas which include a presentation with your own normal Bicycle
deck.
