Card Duck Puppet

Here is a pretty variation of the Card Duck! This is a hand-puppet duck which will open its beak, make a quack and shoot out its tongue! What is more, you can have him peck out the selected card from a miniature deck of cards!

You will love him! He is lots more fun and more versatile than the usual wooden card duck! Even if you just use him as a hand puppet, the kids will love his antics! And there's more!! You can also use him as a vent duck!

Colour Chance

The magician displays four coloured cords and explains that a banknote is tied in the centre of one of the cords. Three spectators select a cord each leaving one for the magician. As each spectator selects his cord, it is removed and shown to be without any banknote. Needless to say, the last cord left for the magician is the one with the banknote tied on!

The trick is easy to perform and all the ropes can be examined. This colourful close-up "Just Chance" effect is always interesting for any audience!

Invisible Cigarette Production

Pretend to catch an invisible cigarette from the air and put it to your lips. Take out a matchbox, remove a match and pretend to light the invisible cigarette. To everyone's surprise, when you lower your hands from your face, you are seen to be smoking a real cigarette! You can now go into a manipulative routine with the cigarette or use it for another effect like the cigarette vanish from handkerchief with the you-know-what!

The trick is supplied with a special gimmicked matchbox which will enable you to do the trick anywhere at anytime! Use your own cigarette!

Knotted Ring Escape

Borrow a finger ring, thread it on a cord and tie a loose knot over it. Close your hand over the ring and knot, wave the magic wand (or utter the magic words!), open your hand .... and the ring is gone! The knot is still there, but the ring has vanished!

You can now reproduce the ring from wherever you fancy, from a bread roll, from your pocket, from a closed ring box or, and we recommend this highly, from our Velvet Nest of Bags (see below).

This is not a self-working trick. You have to practise the moves. You are supplied with my original method of secretly releasing a ring from a knot on the cord. The method is very clean and natural - no suspicious moves or finger contortions! You will have to give it some practice to learn the mechanics to be able to do everything smoothly but once learned, you have a close-up gem forever!

We supply you with the right type and length of cord and a nice ring for you to practise with though you will prefer to do the trick with a borrowed ring once you have learnt it. This is good!

Miracle Gem

Display a red "ruby" on the fingers.

Wave the hand slightly up and down and the gem suddenly changes into a blue "sapphire"! Make another waving motion and the gem changes again into a brilliant "diamond"!

For the finish, pass the stone into the other hand, say the magic words and the stone has changed into a large green "emerald"! Alternatively, the gem vanishes without a trace!

The trick looks like fantastic sleight of hand but in reality, it is very, very simple to do! You are supplied with a special gimmick with all the gemstones.

Net Coin Bag

Show a small empty bag with a net front. Catch an invisible coin from the air and throw it towards the bag… the coin appears visibly in the bag! Remove the coin and place it in the pocket.

Now catch another coin and throw it towards the bag again. Another coin appears! Remove that and continue catching coins from the air! In the end, tip the last coin out from the bag and it changes visibly into a giant coin!

You can do an impromptu miser’s dream with this bag or you can use it as a mini egg bag using a coin (or other small object) instead of an egg! For kiddies’ shows, use sweets and chocolates! You can apparently produce a number of sweets and finish by producing a small bar of chocolate or a small lollipop!

To use the bag as a mini egg bag, show the bag and a coin. Drop the coin into the bag then pretend to take it out again. In reality, you let it slide into the secret pocket. You can now make it disappear from the closed hand (or from the pocket) then make it reappear in the bag again. These actions can be repeated a few times and you can incorporate many of the egg bag moves with sucker explanations, etc. in the routine. Finally, produce the large coin as a climax. Play around with the bag and you will find many ideas! The bag is furnished with a nice jumbo Chinese coin.

Ring & Rope Routine

This is a routine with a piece of rope and a large plastic ring.

The ring and ropes are unprepared and can be examined. They penetrate repeatedly through each other in an inexplicable manner and in the end, the ring is actually tossed into a large knot tied on the rope!

The effect is a classic by now and nothing new, but we do supply our usual soft white rope with a large handsome plastic ring that gives the effect that added touch of class. The ring is small enough to be transported around for close up yet is large enough to be performed on stage!

Star Trix

Here is a set of mirrored stars with which you can perform lots of routines as the stars can be handled like coins. The various basic coin sleights like the Thumb Palm, the Finger Palm, the Downs’ Edge Palm and even the Classic Palm can all be used with the stars and you can produce the stars from the various palming positions just like coins. In fact, you will find some of the moves easier with the stars than with coins as their pointed ends give you a better grip!

You are supplied with three mirrored stars and instructions for different effects. The effects are not self-working. You have to be able to do at least some basic coin sleights.

£6.50

Wishing Star

Show a mirrored star at your fingertips explaining that it is a “wishing star”. Ask the spectator to make a wish, close your hand over the star, open your hand again and the star has vanished. Perhaps it has gone to realize the spectator’s wish? Who knows??

You receive a silver mirrored star. Combine the star with our other star tricks and create a routine with stars.

Velvet Nest of Bags

A marked coin or borrowed ring is vanished by your favourite method. The spectator himself opens a small velvet bag which he has been holding all the time and removes a still smaller bag. He opens this bag and finds another smaller bag, tightly sealed with an elastic band. This last bag is opened and inside is the vanished coin or ring!

You can use any vanish for the coin but we do highly recommend our Substitution Hanky (see item under Accessories section) which makes a really perfect combination with the trick!

Note these points again:  * The bags are all tightly sealed and the spectator himself opens each bag as he finds it.  * He himself finds the vanished article in the last bag.  * The vanished article is loaded instantly without any fumbling or hesitation.  * The bags remain flat at all times (no unsightly bulge as with a nest of boxes) and the trick can be performed close-up and surrounded.  * The trick is always ready!
